What to do in New Zealand in May

The colors of fall attract the people to travel from far and wide in the month of May in New Zealand. The temperatures are moderate in the South as compared to the North Island. Especially, the bewitching views of autumn trees near lakes in the Northern as well as the Southern Islands offer a view to behold.  The most magnificent autumn colors can be seen in in Lindis Valleys in Central Otago, the Hagley Park in Christchurch and Lake Wakatipu and Queenstown Bay in Queenstown. In the fall season, grapes, seafood and home-grown veggies are plenty. The diversity in New Zealand’s natural produce is celebrated coupled with music concerts in the open. It appears as a complete haven for Sea Food lovers who travel from everywhere in NZ for the Bluff Oyster Food Festival which is held on 21st May.
